New Hope Modernists: 1917 - 1950

From the New Hope Modernists Project Inc., and with essays by Roy Pederson and Barbara A. Wolanin. Could you even imagine there is a big enough modernist scene in New Hope, Pennsylvania? Because there is. Or, was. This was published to coincide with an exhibition of the same name that was put on at the James Michener Museum in Doylestown. Theres some really cool and pretty stuff in here in both color and black and white pages (but more color than black and white, I'd say.) Check out the following works to get the gist: "New Hope Station" (1932) by Rawlston Crawford, "Under the Bridge" (1918) by Charles Rosen, all the ones in the pictures I posted, etc.
