John Marin - The 291 Years

Book that came alongside an exhibition from 1998-99. John Marin was an early American artist specializing in modernism, think like cool bright landscape watercolors and stuff. Fun, happy stuff - the brooding cover photo of Marin doesn't do his artwork justice. His work in this book is featured in color alongside an essay by Barbara Rose.
